Recent review of The Gameless Relationship:
I have read The Gameless Relationship. It is incredible! Better than the first. Everything makes such perfect sense. If people would read it and really listen to what it says, people would have much happier relationships.
Thanks,
JoshYour comments are so appropriate. Was watching a documentary last night on the US economy (I live in Aus tralia) and your out line of events seems spot on. Yes, and relationships are so important. Your books are helping to save my relationship with my separated husband of 15 months and also to work on myself.
We have been through turmoil i.e. losing houses, business etc. and tough times with our children but now, instead of tearing our relationship to pieces, I am now trying to eat humble pie and build up our relationship.
When I am in a spot, I read your book which is condensed and not long winded so is easy to keep those four points in mind. Thank you!

Interesting!
I think that a lot of times, people are just fulfilling the early imprint of myths of immature infatuation, like the hero and the princess, and they don’t realize it until they become aware of how truly unsatisfying it is.
The book “Iron John” by the poet Robert Bly covers this topic very sensitively, to me.
What FEELS like “home” to us calls us toward it, for better or worse…
That’s why people from abusive homes always seem to have tempestuous relationships; they keep choosing it, over and over again, because that’s the closest thing to love that they can receive… (which is also why “nice guys” don’t get laid as much as “bad boys”)
The unconscious urges are SO much more powerful than the conscious choices. That’s one reason why shadow work and integration of conscious and unconscious are such VITAL issues; we want to control each other, and we can’t even control ourselves.
There is something to be said for the theory of “cause and affect.” Changing what I was doing in my relationship actually changed my partner’s actions as well. Our relationship of 16 years did NOT end because of the valuable information I received from the “Relationship Saver”. If your relationship is in trouble, I urge you to try it and learn about new and greater possibilities for a more loving and happy partnership.
